Ballard & Ballard operates a custom on site jewelry factory, working design studio, and full service repair shop. Using the best of old time hand craftsmanship along with the latest in technology, such as CAD/CAM computer aided jewelry design/manufacturing, laser welding, and computer casting, Ballard & Ballard has continued to focus on providing the most discriminating customers their own unique brand of self expression, since 1917.
The Ballard Family's combined experience in the jewelry industry exceeds 200 years & spans 4 generations.
Arthur W. Ballard started as a jewelry craftsman apprentice in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 12. In the year 1900 he moved out west to Los Angeles, along with his wife and 2 children.

The company was started in 1917 when his son Arthur V. purchased his half share of the business for $3800 at the age of 17.
The company was strictly a wholesale manufacturer located in downtown Los Angeles in the area know today as the Jewelry District. Arthur W. and his son Arthur V. were also were among the first diamond wholesalers in the country to travel to and maintain an office in Antwerp Belgium, the diamond capital of the world.
Glenn and Guy Ballard joined the company in the 70's and 80's. Both have become master bench jewelers, that still to this day perform hand crafted jewelry tasks daily. Guys specialty being laser welding, while Glenn continues to focus on design now using the latest in CAM/CAM computer aided jewelry design technology.
Together they purchased the business from their father Daryl in 1997.

 In 1998, Ballard & Ballard moved to its current super showroom on Brookhurst Street in the City of Fountain Valley, located midway between Disneyland and the surf of the pacific ocean at world famous, Huntington Beach.
Ballard & Ballard now provides more jewelry, super design and custom capabilities, state of the art manufacturing and repairs, free convenient parking, Gemological services and much, much more with good old fashion care and service.
