“Fashion is what you buy, style is what you do with it.” -Unknown

In today’s modern times of working from home in sweatpants, and mask wearing in public, it is easy to fall into the monotony of a basic routine. If you’re finding yourself bouncing around between virtual happy hours, work conference calls, and socially distant public outings it is important to keep a sense of personal flare in showing who we are as individuals.

Colored stones in jewelry can vary in size, shape, color, and hue so they are perfect way to add just a touch of flare to any outfit. Mix & match what you have to really show your style. From earrings, to pendants, and rings, there’s a piece or color perfect for you!

You can match with your birthstone, or keep things interesting by rotating them around, checkout our list below for some great colored stone pieces & tips that can really add that perfect POP of color!

Ruby's

The color red can convey emotions of love, passion, and drama. Ruby's can be used to draw the eye to specific features you want to highlight or show off from the rest. Use darker stones to dress up an outfit as a sign of maturity, or use lighter ones as bright eye catching gems to stand out from the crowd!

Topaz
The color blue can convey emotions of peace, trust, and loyalty. Adding Topaz accents might not draw the eye as much as a Ruby, but they can be used to add some color without making yourself the center of attention. Use Topaz to create a sense of calmness & security in your person.
Amethyst
The color purple can convey emotions of creativity, compassion, and spirituality. While less popular then other colored stones, Amethyst can be used in very creative ways to give a sense of compassion and bright imagination to your person. If you're looking to stand out & you march to the beat of your own drum then check out Amethyst pieces for your next event.
Emerald
The color green can convey emotions of balance, reliability, and safety. Many don't think to use green as an accent color, unless it's March, but we say they are great all year around. If you're the type to keep others in your life in balance, and you
want to show an essence of trustworthiness try looking at some emerald pieces.
Warmer or Cooler

Another tip to keep in mind is the hue of metal used in the setting of the colored stone. Certain stones such as: Rubys, Emeralds, and Opals can change their hue based on if they are set in a warmer or cooler metel setting. Just be mindful of the warmer or cooler tones in those settings when pearing them with thir corresponding outfits!
Birthstones
Below is a chart to help find your birthstone. If you're stuck between what stone to wear you can never go wrong with a corresponding birthstone!
