We here at Ballard and Ballard are taking every step possible to minimize the risk of infection and spread of coronavirus at our store. We have adjusted our operations to take the proper precautions and implement CDC guidelines.
Ballard and Ballard’s primary concern is the safety and wellness of every employee and customer. As such, we are asking everyone to help with our prevention efforts while at the store. In order to protect everyone, we all must play our part.
The CDC has issued the following guidelines:
· Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When soap and running water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand rub with at least 60% alcohol.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
· Follow appropriate respiratory etiquette, which includes covering for coughs and sneezes.
· Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Additionally, we are taking farther steps to ensure the safety of those around the store. Those include:
· Employees will remain six feet apart from customers who enter the store.
· All workstations will be disinfected prior to employees leaving said station.
· All managers are communicating with staff to observe any and all symptoms that are connected to COVID-19.
Our business deals very closely with small pieces that are constantly handled by their respective owners, so we are maintaining safe practices with proper jewelry care before, during, and after any work is done on pieces. These include:
· Disinfecting all tools and pieces prior to, and after any work is done.
· The use of tweezers or gloves to hold and manipulate any client’s jewelry.
· The reduction of high tough points by offering emailed receipts and other electronic communications.
Ballard & Ballard is working with state and local officials to provide the best, and safest experience to those you love in these new times. We appreciate everyone pulling together to work towards a safer tomorrow. While our future may be changing, we can still celebrate love today.
